Monitor Heater sealed combustion systems prevents the main cause of inefficiency: cold air infiltration. Because a Monitor Heater uses outside air for combustion, no cold outside air is drawn into the house causing drafts, heat loss and that 'cold feeling', therefore heating your home more efficiently and saving you money at the same time.

 

Fuel Consumption:

There is NO DOUBT that between the Monitor Heater and Toyo Heater, these two Modern Convection Heaters use LESS FUEL than any other Heaters in the World - Gas, Oil or Whatever. As much as we love the Rinnai's (and we do and sell lots of them!)...Gas heaters cost 40% more to run than Kerosene K-1 Heaters (we have all the National Heating/BTU comparison charts - this is NOT just conjecture).

If you are looking for a Kerosene Heater, then your ONLY choice is the Toyo Kerosene Heater as our experience shows over 15 years that Toyo Heaters last longer; need less service; need fewer rebuilds; parts are much less; and they can be rebuilt in 1/2 the time with 1/2 the effort and expertise than the Monitor and then run GREAT another 10-15 years.

So if you are looking for the most efficient Kerosene Heater and least costly in Maintainence...Then Toyo Heaters are your ONLY choice.

However...If Gas is your Fuel of Choice in your Area of the Country (Texas sells LP for as little as 99¢...The Rinnai Gas Heater is the ONLY one of its kind in the world: The most efficient Gas Heater; next to no maintainence and almost never a repair.

Attention Kerosun 20 & 30 Owners:

Monitor 20's and 30's have been out for up to 30 years ever since Kerosun came to America (that is NOT the same as Columbus). In that time...You have bought multi-thousands of dollars worth of cars, new socks and possibly new underwear. It is NOW time for a new Kerosun Toyo Heater that is more efficient, better controls, quieter etc. There are NO repairs, parts or discussion for the 20's and 30's of any kind - If you call about them I will say bad words and send my Uncle Guido over to deal with you !!!
