As you may know...The Monitor 22 Heater is a great heater in the Monitor 20,000btu Heater Line. The Monitor 22 Heater needed moderate service or it would NOT hold up like the Monitor 21 Heater! Of course there were exceptions...but without regular service the pot warped; the flame ring self-destructed; many of the blower cases cracked; the gaskets went bad leaking fumes into the house; and the bearings dried up and froze.

Everything about the Monitor 22 Heater should have been simple and whatever the engineers did after the GREAT 21...it somewhat died with the Monitor 22 Heater.
