The Monitor 21 Heater needed very little service (although that is NOT good form) and still would Run-and-Run-and-Run even though the Intake Case was cracked; the damper was sticky; the 'O'-ring was broken; the motor bearings were dry; the Pot was warped; the flame-ring was warped beyond all recognition; the heat-exchanger was full of soot - You Name It!
